    89 Eddie Bauer

For TTB vintage Broncos there is a wealth of posted knowledge at GoFastBroncos. I use mine not as a pure desert pre-runner or as a pure rock crawler, but somewhere in between; and I'm finding that the pre-runner stuff crawls really danged well. Not even the F-250's D50 TTB relieves you of the...

    Confer roof rack mounts/clamps

Well, it seems that either very few others can or I'm not reaching the right market(s). With only two solid orders plus my own need, and two maybe's, I'm going to make these and then pull the plug.

D44 TTB 8 lug with a rear D60 and large disc brake conversions

Wheeee! Does this truck stop!!! 40 to 0 feels like about 2.5 to 3 truck lengths. 50 to 0 isn't noticeably further. I ended up dialing the p-valve down to it's bare minimum and might just be able to run w/o it at all. Simulated panic stop slid all of the tools sitting in the pass Mastercraft seat...

    Confer roof rack mounts/clamps

Those who know about these parts also know that they've been out of production for a long time. They're hard to find and expensive when you do find some. Yet for older rigs they're perfect for attaching a roof rack or an RTT. I'm looking at making a short production run of some clones made in...

D44 TTB 8 lug with a rear D60 and large disc brake conversions

Lots has happened since the last update. That PS reservoir is really cool, and doesn't work. Cavitates the pump. Replaced it with a Lee PS reservoir. HAd a heavy equipment type spin-on fluid filter in the box's return line. It too cavitated the fluid and made the pump make noise. Removed it...

    Must Have's

Ran across an item, or something like it, that should go in everyone's First Aid kit. https://tickkey.com/ Found both it, and chinesium rip-off's, on amazon. For the 50 cents difference I'll buy the original.

    Full size OJ question

5.0 or 5.8? The OJ jokes get old pretty fast. Everyone thinks they're clever, and none of it is new. Like an EB, beware of any lift that drops the radius arm brackets. Look at Solo Motorsports, Desolate Motorsports, and similar for real wheel travel kits that work. Brace your wallet, those...

    Must Have's

TP has been mentioned. The source of the famous "10 Essentials" for wilderness survival considered it to be the 11th Essential.

    Various Trip Pics

Dusty & Steffie's 4k mile trip pics thread got me to thinking about posting some pics from my and our various trips, something that I don't tend to mention or talk about much. These are pics that my wife Denise took, only a very few are mine. I'll try to keep them interesting and inspiring, I...

A Few Pics From Our 4,000-Mile Summer Road Trip

Fantastic pictures! There's just so much of the US to see, and so little time to see it.

A Few Pics From Our 4,000-Mile Summer Road Trip

Oh yes! That's a really neat drive, I like that area a lot. For a while I debated trying to buy that cinder-block building and surrounding property that's North of the highway and *just* on the Nevada side of the line up there. It's too dilapidated to consider it now, but then it would have made...

    Let's Talk Compressors

To me the power point connection itself is a warning. Those circuits are fused for 15 amps max, and it wouldn't surprise me if the vehicle's wiring isn't designed for a sustained 15A draw.
