Overland to Big Bear A 2024-05-29

This Overland to Big Bear route starts at the parking lot of the East Valley Water District in Highland, California.. It winds up Alder Creek Road and traverses a bench above the lower Santa Ana River Gorge before climbing over Clark's Grade into Big Bear. Route B uses Thomas Hunting Grounds upper Santa Ana River gorge and Wildhorse Meadows. The two together make a complete loop from the valley up to Big Bear and back.
