Tailgate table

50 lbs. should be enough. Stronger than it looks.
Yeah, and it's made pretty strong. Again, according to the instructions they use "14 gauge (0.075″) restaurant grade 304 Stainless Steel, the back splash is 0.120″ powder coated 6061 T6 Aluminum, both are CAD designed, laser cut and CNC bent."

Interested. We haven't gotten one because of the worries of a rattle. But gotta get something because we've already scratched the inside of the rear door

I know what you mean by catching on the rear door, I have a couple of those already as well. Note that if you look carefully, the table doesn't go ALL the way to the bottom of the door. theoretically, some could still slide against the back door if it's low enough. This is a general problem that I've battled with other vehicles. The sides and back of the storage area tend to get scratched up from the gear I take with me when I'm off-road sliding around. Overall, I tend to put smaller items into "boxes" of some kind and then I tie down the boxes and other gear to keep it from moving around. I had a friend who had a land cruiser, and got hit in the back of the head by a lawn chair as he was coming down a particularly steep trail in Moab. After that I made darn sure all my gear was completely secured in the back.
