Recall: Rear Shock Absorber External Reservoir Corrosion (Safety Recall 25S01 - January 21, 2025)

I've heard some noise coming from my '21 FE. Just found this today, anyone feeling bumpy?

Got my notice and plan to beat the hell out of mine until they get stocked up and swap them out. Then repeat!

I got my shocks recall finally handled by the dealer last week, now I hear a knocking in my front driver side tire area... anyone hear of this happening to them?

Had mine done last week, they only “Booted” the rear shocks and nothing to the fronts. No noise from any corner.

Hey Gary. I just had mine done as well last week. It’s a kit that encases the reservoir. Looks like Billstein had to foot the bill on this one… but they have nice branding on the cover. Runs smooth.

I was joking with a friend before the fix was available saying the repair was a hose clamp and duct tape. I wasn’t too far off

Had mine “booted” a couple weeks ago. No issues as a result.
