BRRRRaptor!

Terrible paint job!
;)

I'm betting the folks who settled for a std when they wanted Raptonco are saying "dang nab it all!"

Issat in fact a D44? Interesting cover on it.

The heat-shielding under the rear must be left over from the std' muffler? Seems like a good place to fit an aux fuel tank to me!

I'm not sure if that rear end is any different than the one in the non-Raptor Broncos, but those have the Advantek M220 rear end, which is not technically a D44 but Jeep still calls their variant of it a D44. They're very similar except the pinion gear isn't as far offset from the centerline of the ring gear. The diff cover looks almost alike but I do know they're not interchangeable with an older D44. And yeah the cover on this Raptor looks pretty cool, and definitely different than the ones on the regular Broncos, which have a stamped steel cover. Not sure why they're using the cast aluminum (or mag or whatever this one is) on the Raptor Maybe it's got special cooling or oiling needs that the cast cover helps them with? Or maybe it's clearancing something inside, and the tooling costs for the smaller runs of Raptor variants made the cast parts more economical than stamping? I dunno, but it's an interesting question.

Yeah the heat shield looks like its left over from the standard muffler setup. The factory muffler is pretty huge. Here's mine with a smaller Magnaflow muffler, and the factory heat shield still in place.

How thick is that rear track bar? Looks a bit dainty compared to our EB upgrades.

Love the design, hate the graphics would give me a headache, not enough rust on it. Can’t trust it without the rust.

Haha that's just camo wrap. Not sure what they're still trying to hide at this point but that wrap is just temporary until they reveal it.
