Bronco lifts and warranties

Wanted to see who has dealt with after market lifts and warranties. I got my Black Diamond non Sasquatch because I wanted to add my own after market lift and save on the cost on the purchase. I knew that the after market lift was going to cost a pretty penny so I didn’t want to pay for it twice. I wanted to see if any of you have gotten a lift and if it had caused any issues with any warranty on your new bronco. Thanks for the help in advance.

Good topic. I had a ‘heap” before and never had issues with warranty as the aftermarket parts were made for that model. But hear it depends on lots of factors. For example the dealership. Mine installed various lifts so they were use to aftermarket lift kits.

Thats the thing with the Bronco now, there are so many after market products. I wanted the warranty to cover everything and all the electronics. That is why I was asking about lifts causing issues with the warranty. I know I’m going to get one just wanted to see if anyone had experience with it and warranty.

According to fhe Magnusson-Moss warranty act. The dealer has to prove that your modifications caused the failure in order to void warranty.
