BBBBXXIII - Sunday Heartbreak Ridge - Alan Rowe Memorial Run

This run is a BBBB tradition dating back to 2005, when we dedicated the Alan Rowe Monument at the top of Heartbreak Ridge. Every year since then, on Sunday of Big Bear Bronco Bash, we have had an "Alan Rowe Memorial Run" to enjoy the challenges of Heartbreak Ridge and also pay our respects to fallen So Cal Broncos brother and USMC Captain Alan Rowe (posthumously promoted to Major), who was killed in action in Iraq in 2004. So Cal Broncos OG's and FNG's alike are invited to participate in this very special part of our So Cal Broncos history. Once again this run will be led by our own Danny Bogner, So Cal Broncos OG and combat decorated US Army veteran of the Vietnam War. Danny has also been a USFS volunteer for decades, and is our liaison with the Forest Service. He is a wealth of knowledge and our most experienced trail leader in So Cal Broncos.

Can you add me and my husband John and Ahna, Thanks!

It will be my pleasure to lead the Alan Rowe Memorial run Sunday as it's been a tradition for many years and several of us will share the story of how the Memorial came to be along with other memories of Alan and his family and SCB , if your a Veteran and there's still an opening you might consider it.

If you have overheating issues, do to the warm weather at Lowe elevations and the long climb up , PLEASE FIX Zyour overheating problem before going
