I've noticed there are just a couple Saturday runs posted, and those are getting crowded. I'll offer another option.
Rattlesnake Canyon starts at desert level in Johnson Valley, follows a sandy desert wash with a few rock obstacles, and climbs into the Big Bear mountains where it intersects with the popular Burns Canyon trail.

• DATE & TIME: Saturday, June 8, meet as staging site 8:30 AM
• TRAIL RATING: Easy, with a few Moderate obstacles. Stock Broncos will be fine.
  • There are several videos covering this trail
• TRAILS: Rattlesnake Canyon to Burns Canyon

  • Its a 45 minute highway drive to reach the trailhead here https://maps.app.goo.gl/fTkpn2WEdb7yKJDk7
  • This should keep us out of the way of many huge groups trying to enter popular trailheads in BB on Sat morning.

• COMMS: GMRS Ch TBD (will check for a Ch/freq not in heavy use)
