BBBB XXIV John Bull Full- Little & Big Friday June 6th
DATE : Friday, June 6th
TIME: Morning 7:30 am
TRAIL RATING: Difficult
STAGING LOCATION: Van Dusen @ the wide spot. https://goo.gl/maps/EcyhS4avAbBSaPA78
MAX VEHICLES: Me + 8
COMMS: GMRS / FRS CH-18 Freq 462.625 for all you UV5R folks
This trail continues to get rougher. Our run was ruined last year by someone who wasn’t honest with himself even after I explained it would be rough before he ever left the house going to BBBB. He basically quit, wasting a lot of people’s time & ruining it for everyone else. I don’t wish to repeat that this year or ever again to be honest so please pardon the stiffness in this invitation.
Throttle jockeys need not apply. You can break good on this trail. We helped a guy limp back out on this same trip that grenaded his front diff with far too much throttle.
Prerequisites:
1. It is highly recommended that you have run one of the following Gold Mountain, Holcomb Creek or Dishpan Springs beforehand.
2. Not be phased / worried to death over scratched wheels and pinstriping. Dents are a possibility- We'll do our best at getting people through unscathed as always, but this isn't Disneyland where the rides are on rails. Things can happen. I will work hard to get you through as best I can. That Talcum dust is like ice on the rocks.
To Quote SD Bronco at B6G who just ran it “I don't recommend it for anyone with a stock sasquatch bronco unless you are ok with getting scratches and using all of your skid plates.” Be honest with yourself
.
3. 35" tires minimum
4. Lockers HIGHLY RECOMENDED!
5. Armor well advised
6. A good attitude is a must.
We had another guy on that run who was lacking experience and equipment, but was willing do anything to keep going all the time sweating bullets. Attitude will make the difference in everyone having a great time including you
.
