Is anyone here running 8 lugs on their early Bronco? I'm considering axle swaps and the ability to share wheels and tires with my big truck.

I'm in the process of doing it on my FSB. The one thing that I'd caution about is wheel back-spacing. Newer 8 lug trucks are not the same as older 8 lug trucks.
AND it used to be that 8 lug was 8lug, but Ford screwed that up in '99 and now Dodge has seen fit to copy them. So there are at least 3 different 8 lug patterns out there. You'll need to be carefull of what you have and what you buy. Finding 8 X 6.5" wheels in 17" with the correct back-spacing is nowhere near as easy as it should be. However, if you need late model back-spacing in such a wheel then I have 5 17x9 Method 106's FS.
