Specs on my build
Drivetrain - 98’ Explorer 5.0 with complete OBDII operating system. C4 trans, Atlas II 3.8, 5.13 gearing with Detroit locker in the rear, 79’ high pinion Dana44, narrowed to EB width, pushed 1 1/2” forward, with RCV axles.
Suspension - Front has James Duff long arms, Fox 2.5 12“ travel shocks, 5.5” coil springs with adjustable coil mounts, currently sitting at 2.5” of suspension lift. Full width track bar with custom mounts. Rear suspension has Deaver 3 1/2” leafs with Duff shocks mounted to a Cross ent. inboard shock hoop. 17x8.5” TrailReady Beadlocks, 37” BFG KO2’s.
Ford front disc brakes, GM hydro boost, stock rear drums make for a fully functional E-brake. Howe Performance power steering pump, stock 76’ Bronco steering box, RuffStuff 7/8” heim steering.
Still retaining the stock heater, MasterCraft front seats, full cage, Kayline soft doors, Rampage top. Cross Ent. rear bumper/tire carrier. Self fabbed front bumper w/tow bar attachments. Lowrance GPS, PCI Race Radio, period correct Alpine Stereo. Line-Xed tub.
