    Offroad trail jack

The best kit is the one that you have with you. <- Learned that one the hard way. After that I think it comes down to personal preference. I've not seen the ARB kit, no doubt it's a decent kit. I have several of the Safety Seal kits and at least one kit made up from individual tool purchases...

    Offroad trail jack

Most in the Overloaded er. lander community will say Safety Seal: https://safetyseal.com/kits/ Their tools and components are good, not a fan of any blow-molded cases. They take up way too much room. Top tip: If you're going to carry a tube to fix the really bad tears put it in one of those...

    Offroad trail jack

Sidewall tear. Not much can be done there. I have, cough, cough, heard of such a thing being "sewn" back together with safety wire, booted on the inside, and then a tube inserted. Would NOT recommend that, I heard that it took a long time and was very marginal at best, but it got u, I mean them...

    Confer roof rack mounts/clamps

How many do you need? I have 6 of the actual Con-Ferr's that I should probably move to a new home.

    Confer roof rack mounts/clamps

There is exactly one extra clamp that was made, and it's a proof of concept assembly that triggered a couple of changes in the short production run of them. I could make more, but even if you needed 8 of them, the economies of scale aren't there. You'd need to want them pretty badly.......

CANCELED: SCEB Inaugural Point to Point (aka "Overland") Run planning

I'm booked for April, and with the new job I won't have a 3 day weekend until it's a Holiday. It is starting to get warm out there. That may or may not be a concern. Should we push to Fall?

Oh yeah.... Dust to Snow was one of the more epic NV trips. I was in Patch. You'll see it in some of the pictures, a multi-colored '84 Xcab yota (hence it's name) with a high top shell on it. There's some good camp-fire stories from that one.

Which one? More than likely I was on that trip.

CANCELED: SCEB Inaugural Point to Point (aka "Overland") Run planning

OK, I 'm not fixed or cured or whatever, but the Doc isn't really pursuing it either. I've posted on the FB stream about it I'm hoping for more participation. SO, let's re-start this and let's do it from zero. Where and when? Do I need to just pick a date and go from there? Shall we simply do...

CANCELED: SCEB Inaugural Point to Point (aka "Overland") Run planning

Had one 26 years ago that presented all of the classic symptoms. Went from sleeping to screaming in agony in 3.2 micro-seconds, etc. High oxalic acid intake at the time was likely the cause then. This one, no idea it was there. Was found in a CT scan for something else. Litho isn't an option...

CANCELED: SCEB Inaugural Point to Point (aka "Overland") Run planning

Doc gave me a formula of juices to drink hoping that it will dissolve the stone. That and/or wait for it to move to where they can get to it with some vise-grips or the sound blaster. Seeking a 2nd opinion. Needless to say I'm not too excited to go into BFE like this. SO, if this is going to...

CANCELED: SCEB Inaugural Point to Point (aka "Overland") Run planning

I have it, but work just recently blocked the entire domain, so can only access it at home. I've had sudden health issue crop up, not sure what my availability is going to be. Right now going into the wild with a known kidney stone is not a good idea. Should know more on Thursday.

That sounds very handy, I will need to look into this. Except that some of my files were created in Gaia.

I know that there was more interest than what I'm seeing in responses to this thread. I can't access FB from work and rarely get time from home, so no idea what is going on over there.

Well that's a fly in the ointment for sue! The Warn M8 on the front of Snowball came from the first or second of that swap-meet.

CANCELED: SCEB Inaugural Point to Point (aka "Overland") Run planning

If we start on a Friday evening then we need to find a place to camp or something near the start. The best place that I know of in that area for that is at Giant Rock. Which is why I wanted to hear from those interested in going. Do we simply say "Meet up at Giant Rock the evening of Mar 14th"?
