Not me, look for my wife Steffie. She will have her table set up in the common area at the Majestic Moose for a couple of hours each evening Friday and Saturday.
Jason/s (@BrickNoseFSB) Balky Horse/Rattler Loop/Burns Canyon run would be right up your alley. He's not requiring signup but it would be a courtesy to post in his thread to let him know your going, if you decide to.
Yep, too late. There will be a few extras available at the Bash, not sure of sizes and quantities. That's for the current BBBB event T-shirt. For non-event specific So Cal Broncos T-shirts, hats, etc., you can order off the SCB Gear page. Those are printed on demand and available year-round.
Thanks for leading this run Jason! I'll give it a cover image and feature to help get eyes on it. I know you've done the Round Valley to Heartbreak portion of this because I rode with you :) Rattler Loop is about on par with some of the tougher parts of the Round Valley section.
For those not...
On Saturday night we put the “Bash” in Big Bear Bronco Bash! Come to BBBB HQ at the Majestic Moose after a fun day on the trails to enjoy Happy Hour with your fellow Bronco enthusiasts. Bring your favorite adult beverage and a comfortable chair to hang out, kick tires and tell lies while the SCB...
Joerg if you'd like to use a convenient meeting spot for folks to gather then convoy over to the trailhead together, a good spot is the parking lot for Boulder Bay Park. It's just down the street from the Majestic Moose, in the direction you would be heading. We usually use that spot for any...
Welcome to the brotherhood! Not that you'll need it but it's always a good idea to carry a recovery kit. Basically a tool bag with a recovery strap and a couple of soft shackles. That way if anything happens and you need a tug from someone, at least you can provide your own gear. Also...
Welcome Lori! Come on up to Big Bear next weekend and you'll have plenty of opportunity to ease into off-roading at Big Bear Bronco Bash. All of the info is available here in the forum and on the website (click here). Also, if you'll mark gender as female in your profile settings you'll get...
Yeah that would be a good one for a full size pickup, if its open. If its not, the road to Pioneertown would be good. Or any of the Delamar Mountain or Upper Holcomb routes that we've discussed here in the forum. Or you could run the length of 3N16 (Holcomb Valley Road) from east to west, ending...
There's nothing to sign up for, except for individual runs where the run leader has asked for it, like this one. But for BBBB in general there is nothing to sign up to. Just heed the information about it that's available online and don't expect concierge service :)
Welcome to the brotherhood! And yes, that term is figurative. Ladies are also welcome, as our co-founder (my wife) happens to be one :) If you haven't done so yet, be sure to check the box for female in your profile settings. That will open access to our ladies section for you.
If you mean Wildhorse Meadows, that's a good question, maybe @Gotchaa can verify. I was driving up highway 38 yesterday and I saw heavy equipment parked at the south entrance so maybe they've been working on it. It's been closed for a couple of years.
You're seeing the code for the message you're replying to. Note that you do not add your own name to the signup list. That's the OP's (@Felix 808 ) post and only he can edit it. All you need to do is to post a comment asking to be added to the list, and if accepted the OP will manually add you...
Welcome to the group but its sort of odd form to have just joined and your first post two posts are to shill for some shop. Why not lead with introducing yourself, telling us a little bit about your Bronco, some of your off-road adventures, etc.? Your recommendation means nothing if we know...
