Might be other factors contributing. You can try to find 'Ethanol free' fuel depending on your location, usually sold near lakes etc for marine use. you may also be able to order it online in quantities, or call your nearest VP fuel station.

91 octane from Chevron, and "Sta-bil" fuel stabilizer helps, but its best to drain the gas and carb completely if storing for longer than a few months...

Summit and Jegs sell them. I have a usb powered golf cart fan from Amazon which is pretty inexpensive and also fragile, but works.

I plan on being there, and doing easy/fun stuff Fri/Sat/Sun. Count me in for the Afton Cyn run on Sunday!
