I got my shocks recall finally handled by the dealer last week, now I hear a knocking in my front driver side tire area... anyone hear of this happening to them?

My '21 First Edition is at the dealer (was looking forward to the bash!), the rack and pinion are shot, its a shame but have any of you had similar failures with the gen6 Bronco parts? I see nothing but great aftermarket replacements, I guess it wasn't thought out all the way when they launched...
