Would like to meet up there to drive to trail head as it's bee quite awhile since I've been to big bear.

Joerg if you'd like to use a convenient meeting spot for folks to gather then convoy over to the trailhead together, a good spot is the parking lot for Boulder Bay Park. It's just down the street from the Majestic Moose, in the direction you would be heading. We usually use that spot for any runs that are heading west of the dam (Dishpan or anything else that starts near Green Valley Lake or Arrowhead). https://maps.app.goo.gl/sRqrXAqbkY9QK2z38

I like that idea ... how about this, I'll be at Boulder Bay's parking lot (just down the street from the Moose and the Grey Squirrel) at 9:00 AM for anyone who want to meet there rather than the trailhead. The idea would be to head out of Boulder Bay by 9:15AM at the latest so we get to the trailhead before 10:00AM. Here's a link to the Boulder Bay spot, and here's a link to the actual trailhead for those who prefer meeting there.
