Folks,
I just got this from Mike, the SCMF OHV coordinator:
"I wanted to invite you to our Southern California Mountains Foundation Off Highway Vehicle Volunteer Orientation this Saturday November 1st at the Big Bear Discovery Center.
We will begin at 10am with introductions to the program. From there we will have a ArcGis Survey123 presentation on how to report your findings such as hazard trees, graffiti, trash, tires, illegal fire rings, signs that need repair, culverts that need attention, trails that need brush work & trails that need grading when out in the field.
We will provide pizza and soda for lunch then head out into the forest.
We hope to finish it off with a 4x4 Qualification down in Cactus Flats.
This is open to the public so feel free to share if you know anyone who may be interested in helping keep the trails open safe and clean."
These are the same folks who we shared a run with at the last Big Bear Bronco Bash and the organization that Danny was involved with. I'm not sure I can make it, but it would be nice to have some SoCal Bronco folks there.
