This is a moderate trail with elevation changes some narrow shelves, some off camber sections and a few rocks thrown in here & there, but shouldn't be too crazy. it will be a great trail for our newer drivers as it will provide a lot of varying terrain that will let you enjoy what your truck can do and will help you build confidence and more experience with your vehicle. Good views of Johnson Valley, Lucerne Valley, Cougar Buttes, Apple Valley, Barstow, Mojave Road, Calico and at night even Las Vegas off in the distance, not that I plan on staying out there at night.
We will be traveling 1/2 way up Holcomb Creek Rd from the west end, then cutting across Hitchcock which will take us up to Holcomb Valley heading west to White Mountain. From here we'll jump down Grapevine Canyon onto Coxey Rd to complete our loop.
Be gassed up & Ready to go. Plan on a full day so bring lunch, water a good attitude & whatever else will help keep you happy for a day on the trail
