It's always a good idea to carry recovery gear. Tire deflators and an air pump will come in handy as well. Comms are always good. I have both GMRS/FRS as well as VHF which I believe is the preferred SoCal Broncos radio. I'm new here so hopefully someone will chime in as well. Don't forget...

Yep, that is what they do to release bound up energy. Sometimes it can be a bit unnerving at times.

Thanks for the reply. It's been a few decades since I had my 76. I think I joined the registry way back when. Found some of my old catalogs ( those things we had before the interwebs) KbarS, James Duff, Jeff's Bronco Graveyard & a few others I doubt are still around.
