    Must Have's

Good idea, please start a new thread, in the new Trail Gear & Etiquette area that I just created (and moved this thread into). Thanks!

    Chanel's Build Thread

Next we took the Coco livery back off and started working on the exterior makeover. Installed ADV fiberglass 5" fenders and ADV ram air hood, and had it all painted to match the Oxford White. Here's a separate thread on it I posted at the time, if you're interested in the details. Not long...

    Chanel's Build Thread

Next it was time to upgrade the suspension from stock with a spacer lift, so we installed ICON EXP shocks front and rear. Those keep the factory coil springs but replace the shock with an ICON 2.5" diameter performance damper with adjustable lift height.

    Chanel's Build Thread

Looks like I've neglected Chanel's Build Thread! Let's work on getting it caught up. It's been a couple of years since I updated this thread but looking back I believe the next thing we did was actually a temporary thing we did for BBBB, when we did up Chanel to mimic Coco's livery :) Here's...

    So Cal Broncos Bishop 2026

Greg is the wagonmaster so I can't say what route he'll take us on up there. I took a quick look at the map and I see Wyman Creek, looks like it would be a fun route but a bit of a haul coming back. Not sure I remember exactly what we did last time we were up there. I think we just tooled around...

BBBBXXV - Notes & Suggestions for DIY Run Leaders

Re-Posting for 2026 as the info is still good! I'll go through the info soon just to make sure everything is still currently applicable. Feel free to ask any questions about leading runs, here in this thread.

BBBBXXV - Hitting the Trails at Big Bear Bronco Bash

TL/DR: Runs are DIY or by volunteer run leaders. Anyone who would like to voluntarily lead a run is encouraged to do so, and start a new thread in the BBBB Sub-Forum to organize it. If you do so, I'll add it to the list below. LIST OF VOLUNTEER RUNS ANNOUNCED SO FAR: Runs TBA as they are set...

    Big Bear Bronco Bash XXV

I'll echo what @BadSquatch and others have said, and just reiterate that BBBB has been morphing into more of a DIY event in recent years. There will be some runs posted by volunteers who have decided to lead them, but there is no central committee planning your weekend for you. Also, if you or...

    How to post a listing?

The Marketplace sections are to intended as a resource for active members of the So Cal Broncos community, so the ability to post in those areas is turned off for FNG's. See THIS POST for more info about using that section. To become an active member of our community (and proceed beyond FNG...

    Advice for my Dad

After a couple more posts you'll graduate out of FNG status and be able to post in the For Sale section here, which you would be welcome to do if you'd like. But I would guess our members here, who are mostly crusty old off-roaders and not so much restomod cars-&-coffee types, might not be the...

I recall you had a small camping trailer when you came with us on this trip way back in the olden days.

    So Cal Broncos Bishop 2026

Some rocky sections but I did it in Coco back before having lockers. It's east of Bishop near Sherwin Summit, a bit south of Tom's Place. From the community of Swall Meadows you head up Sand Canyon, on a bench above Rock Creek. Then a spur trail leads out to Wheeler Crest where you come out on...

    So Cal Broncos Bishop 2026

So Cal Broncos returns to Bishop for three days of wheeling in the Eastern Sierras and White Mountains, September 4-6, 2026 (Labor Day Weekend). Back in the late-2000's we used to do an annual Bishop trip to hit the trails in the Eastern Sierras and White Mountains. Long-time So Cal Broncos...
