That's probably the bypass they gated off. I think that the idea here is to weed out folks at the beginning who have little chance of completing the trail or breaking trying. If you want a preview check out this YouTube video:
You' call set Kevin. I added your name to the list. As for communications, we will talk about that at the drivers meeting. But most likely, it will be GMRS unless everyone has 2-meter, then we will use one of the SCB freqs. because there's less traffic/interference there.
Also, if you haven't been there for a while, the FS has made the gatekeeper at the beginning to the tail mandatory by gating off the way around it. They also poured some cement between the rocks, so it's probably a little easier than you remember it but it will give pause to those with small...
The other option is set one up! See if there's some interest and lead a run on one of the more difficult trails. I haven't heard, for example, about ANY runs to Dishpan Springs yet.
OK, well then I think that your best best in the Bronco Knoll run @Marcelino13 The climb up the Knoll is at least a little exciting. A lot will depend on what the weather this winder did to the trails going up and which route the leader picks.
I don't see any publicly listed ones. @Dusty is there anything scheduled for Thurs. beside what's listed on the forums that @Marcelino13 might be able to tag along with?
