Folks,
I have added a Google Drive folder where I'm uploading information, and it has a subfolder where you can upload your pictures and videos that you would like to share. See the original posting for the run on page 1 for the link.
You could do the White Mountain run. I believe that there's still available slots for that one. https://socalbroncos.com/forum/threads/bbbb-xxiv-saturday-june-7th-white-mountain-moderate.958/
Welcome Lori! Dusty has already mentioned Big Bear Bronco Bash, so I won't repeat that. Has anyone told you about Bronco Off-Roadeo? It's a great way to learn about your Bronco's offroad capabilities, and what all of the "buttons" are for and it's free for new Bronco owners. You can get...
Upon further consultation, since it's an easy+ trail, and most of it is pretty wide, AND it's Friday, I've bumped it up to 20. But that's it, that's the limit.
Nope, I'm cutting it off at 15ish. 20 is way too many, in my opinion. If it ends up that there's interest for that many, then I'm going to suggest we cut the group in 1/2 and have the second 1/2 leave 1 hour later and find someone who can lead the second 1/2.
You are all set. There are a couple of spots that might get tight, so I would suggest that some pin striping might occur. There's one in particular, although I haven't been up there this year year, but it's short, and if you want, I can direct you around it.
I'll post a link to it on Google Maps. But the address is: 40971 North Shore Dr (Hwy. 38) · Fawnskin, California
So, I'm making it official, we will meet at the Big Bear Discovery Center in the rear parking lot. Please try to be there by 9:00 AM at the latest so we can start the drivers...
Josh,
I'm leading both the Holcomb Valley Rd. run on Thursday and the Upper Holcomb/Delmar Maintain run on Friday. Signups for both can be found here: https://socalbroncos.com/forum/forums/big-bear-bronco-bash.33/
Kate,
Here's a little help. Take a look at https://socalbroncos.net/bbbb/ which will give you more information about BBBB, as well as the schedule of events, etc. Then you can jump on the forum, and take a look at https://socalbroncos.com/forum/forums/big-bear-bronco-bash.33/ where you will...
This run is super simple, you won’t need any of that stuff. Except a radio. There are all kinds of threads on this site talking about it. But in the end I would suggest an inexpensive hand held that you can get from Amazon. For example: https://a.co/d/7vpw3RG
You are all set for the run, see...
After some more research, I noticed that 17 was the output for the Mesa Crest repeater, who could definitely interfere with us. So, I poked around some more, and decided on:
COMMS: GMRS/FRS Channel Primary: 16 Secondary:18 (for those of you with HAM radios that's Primary: 462.5750, Secondary...
