I just purchased this 71 and am planning to start building it into a crawler. I have a second 89 bronco (was my crawler project) that I am using as a donor to bring this one to life. The plan so far is: engine: 5.8 efi trans: np435 tease: dana 20 F-axle: full width hp 44 R-axle: ford 9- inch

Thank you for the welcome. Looks like I'm going to be bringing home a 71. So looking forward to seeing some build threads to get some ideas.

Bought it bone stock still with the original running boards. Removed those and installed a 5.5 superflex kit and set it on some 35s. Next step is building some shock and spring towers and see what its capable of.

I practically grew up in the back seat of an EB and have been attending SCB events since I was a kid. Now I have my own broncos and figured I should join the forums.
