to those who will join us for the run we will have goody bags and a raffle. so please sign up so we know what to expect. looking forward to this year since the last few have been rocky for me.
Oscar it might be a good idea to let folks know which run you're talking about LOL. This thread covers all of the Saturday runs :)

Joerg, I'll go with you especially if we can get at it early Saturday. I think I have convinced my wife to let me bring her bronco. I'll shoot you a pm with my ph# call me.

One thing you might consider is simply lopping off the last section of trail (Little John Bull). Where you come out at the end of The Squeeze, before continuing on to Little John Bull, there is a bail-out road back to town. You could just do that if you want.
I’d be interested in this if Clark’s is still closed.

See you there!! My first run in the beast.

ATTENTION: FINAL RUN DETAILS & ALTERATIONS

With Bronco Bash now only days away, we had to make some last-minute changes to certain runs due to lingering trail closures. Please check your selected runs for each day and note the changes. For a couple of the runs the staging locations have also changed.

Here are the ALTERATIONS for the SATURDAY RUNS

  • The CLARK'S GRADE TO BEAR CREEK run has been changed to DELAMAR MOUNTAIN, due to the closure on Clark's Grade. This is a run of similar difficulty (Easy) and scenic value. Note that the STAGING LOCATION HAS CHANGED to the Big Bear Discovery Center. The departure time and Oscar Espinoza @Acfabb_oscar as the run leader remains the same. (Oscar, I'll get you a GPX file!)
  • The UPPER HOLCOMB TO LITTLE JOHN BULL run no longer includes Little John Bull, at the discretion of Run Leader Joerg Hallbauer @BadSquatch. The run is now designated UPPER HOLCOMB TO THE SQUEEZE. This brings the overall difficulty of the trail down significantly. Staging location and departure time remains the same.
  • The WHITE MOUNTAIN TRAIL run has been cancelled so we could use its staging area for the DELAMAR MOUNTAIN run instead. The run had no signups yet.
Also note that all runs that did not have a volunteer for Run Leader have been changed to "DIY". That means you are still welcome to run it, but you will be on your own for navigation. See the note in the first post in this thread for more information about the runs designated as DIY.

BTW, I pre-ran The Squeeze part of the run with a couple of other Bronco folks. It's TIGHT. Here's the GoPro video ...
Nice, do you think the 6:49 mark in the video is the most difficult part of the trail? Running 31s and I hope to barely clear my Diff with that first boulder. 😁 Thanks!

31's are gonna be tough in a few spots. Do you have the skid plates?

I don't know bout 31's but if we would have taken a more driver line, I don't think we would have got hung up the little we did

Thanks! I think with my wheelbase I’ll be able to turn enough and make that driver line. I was more curious about the large boulder in the middle between the tree and rock before you got hung up. Only one way to find out 😁.

Looking for input/advise.

I'm currently signed up for Upper Holcomb-Squeeze-LJB. Since LJB has been eliminated or optional and I'm not sure I will be able to find anyone willing to run LJB with me, I'm just a little bummed, I wanted to try to stretch my comfort and test what our bronco can do past what we have already done, mostly easy to moderate with a couple more difficult obstacles.

So I'm considering changing to a different run, our rig G6 badlands, 21/2 lift with almost 35's. OEM sliders and under body skids.

I'd like to stretch my comfort just a little and see what more the bronco is capable of, but nothing too crazy. My main goal out there beside having a good time. Don't get hurt or break anything. I know there are no guarantees out there and I'm willing to take some risks.

I'm considering Gold Mountain. I have seen a couple videos of this trail, including Trail Mulisha 22 BBBB. It seams doable to me being with what I expect to be more experienced people than I and choosing the less difficult lines.

So the real question, is my rig well enough protected to consider taking this trail?
