Next official SCB event is probably the annual get-together in Calico in January. I am headed to a non-SCB Off-road event in Sierra NF next weekend, kind of far, but you are welcome to attend. I plan on heading up Thursday and dispersed camping thru the following weekend.

Hey Stacey we have 3 major events each year. BBBB, which just happened, the Calico run in January, and Early TDS in March. Between those folks are always setting up impromptu runs so just stay tuned. And of course you're always welcome to post up and say "hey, who wants to join me this weekend to hit such-and-such trail?" Also if you haven't yet, I encourage you to join our Facebook Group, where there is usually more spur-of-the-moment discussions that we have here in the forum. That said, we mostly slow down on local runs during the summer because it's so hot. But my wife and I will be getting back up into the high country several times during the summer for overnighters. If you're set up for camping you're welcome to join us. I'll try to post here on the forum if anything we're doing is good for inviting folks to.
