Cool pic from Esteban Hernandez' lens... Side of hwy 18 north of Green Vally turnoff. Scott Woodward shotgun and Rito Merlero in the back, racing the sunset to recover Rito's broken steering box Bronco. My Tcase started to fall off so on the way down so we aborted the mission and went back the next day. Rito was a good dude and I miss him a lot.

My group found Rito’s Bronco abandoned down towards Dishpan Springs. I hadn’t met Rito, but we had talked online and by phone quite often about upgrades he was working on. He was very excited to finally get his Bronco to Big Bear. We took this pic, and I texted it to him, we had such a laugh at that night’s festivities. This was at the Bash in 2016. I sure do miss him. RIP brother.
