Not sure if it’s of interest to many, but figured I’d share.
My son and I just attended the Off-Roadeo in Nevada this past weekend and it was a great experience. We took the Raptor edition, but the setup and execution of the event seemed really solid for both “branches” - they take the Raptors out to another property about an hour down trail to run a few modules, including a rally course, some rock-crawling, and… of course… the jump.
The event was really well-run - had all levels of attendees from folks who didn’t really know what 4x4 meant to some semi-pro racers, and they came from all over the US to attend. We were the only ones from CA, the rest were east coast, PNW, even Florida. The guides were really knowledgeable and knew how to handle the crowd and kept it very engaging. Coming from a line of Jeep vehicles in my past, I learned a lot of things about the Bronco and have a whole new appreciation for the machine.
The whole thing exceeded my expectations and it seems like Ford is really putting some good investment toward making this a quality experience. That’s my take - mileage may vary.
