I'm providing this information for those who would like to run an easy/scenic trail at Big Bear Bronco Bash, but have not been able to find an established run to join. This would be considered a "DIY" run, as it's not currently on the schedule. But if anyone wants to volunteer to lead it and create a scheduled run post to invite others to it, feel free to use this information. Otherwise, this route can be run at any time by anyone. It is safe enough to run it alone, but as always I recommend at least groups of two just in case you have issues.

Delamar Mountain to Upper Holcomb Creek is an easy, scenic run through the forest north of Big Bear Lake. I'm calling it Easy+ because there several short, lightly technical sections that any stock 4WD vehicle should be able to make in 2WD but you should have 4WD just in case. The route starts at the Big Bear Discovery Center, heads up Polique Canyon, then circles Delamar Mountain, nearly circumnavigating it. Next it crosses Holcomb Valley, up a short rocky climb then descends upper Holcomb Creek (this isn't the hard part of Holcomb Creek you've heard about). The route ends at the Fawnskin Fire Station. Here are some map and navigation resources for this route:

If anyone needs any additional information or has questions about running this route, feel free to ask! If you'd like to try to find friends to run this trail with, post up below. If you'd like to lead an organized run and put it on the schedule, see This Post for info, I'm sure it will be appreciated!
