Any desert campsites with hookups?

I grew up in the high desert and everyone likes to dump on it but nighttime away from the light pollution of the city has some of the best nights looking at the sky imaginable. Anyone have any kid friendly campsite recommendations? Hook ups are nice but not 100% needed in the off seasons.

We've stayed at the Calico KOA several times. It's a nice park, close to lots of trails, and they have a pool to cool off in.

I stayed at the KOA in Calico/ Barstow and it was great also going to the ghost town was fun. Another place to visit we went to Slash X Ranch Cafe on Barstow Road for lunch.
